I purchased 4 x Blockley TC tires from. Longstone in England. They arrived 4 days later with free shipping.
Remarkable service.

Longstone 3 block 4.5x19 tires are a great choice and reasonably priced; albeit a prewar look. Grippy on gravel and in the rain, but louder on asphalt. You can get them direct from Longstone or through Lucas Tire in California. They like a slightly higher air pressure, i run them at 30 PSI.

Motorcycle tires are ok for low speed prewar cars; i had them on my Austin for a while, but they can overgrip as mentioned. I wouldn't consider them on a T-type.

Thanks for the input Ken, your comments make a lot of sense. Motorbike tires are designed to work while leaning, car tires are not. I have always thought that Longstone was the best option, even though they are the furthest away.
