Now in its 37th year, the Historic Festival at Lime Rock Park has been a time-honored tradition since 1982. Enjoy vintage car racing at its best.

The event opens on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, with the Vintage Race Car & Sports Car Parade presented by Salisbury Bank. This 17-mile tour through the local towns culminates in a free street fair in the charming town of Falls Village. Then continue your nostalgic journey through time and enjoy three days of authentic vintage car racing with practice and qualifying on Friday, Aug. 30, and a full day of racing on Saturday, Aug. 31 and Labor Day Monday, Sept. 2.

On Friday, Saturday and Monday, the Festival is in full swing with open paddocks, three concession stands, book and poster signings, vintage hat showcases, the Harpoon beer tent, food trucks and vendors on The Midway, the Kids Club area, unique merchandise in the Lime Rock Store, and the Swap Meet with car parts and unique automotive collectibles.

Of the Festival's highlights, the Sunday in the Park Concours d’Elegance and Gathering of the Marques brings nearly 1,000 motorcars and motorcycles to the track on Sept. 1. Stroll the Park and tap into your inner car enthusiast as you admire rare and exotic historic and vintage cars. Another featured event is the Saturday Night Dinner & A Panel. Held in the main tent in hospitality village overlooking the front straight, the gathering is an entertaining charity event open to competitors, VIPs and fans alike.

Driving through the streets of Coatesville on America’s First Historic Super Highway!

This invitational event hosted by the City of Coatesville will feature vintage race cars and motorcycles dating back from the early 1900’s through 1970.

The Coatesville Invitational Vintage Grand Prix was conceived as a unique motorsporting event to bring back the excitement of the early days of motorsports in America, when racing was run on the streets and real roads of small towns and cities across the country.

The CIVGP is not a wheel-to-wheel race. Its is a individually timed sporting event run on a challenging 2.2 mile road course that runs through 5 neighborhoods of the historic city of Coatesville.

Complete with "old style" hay bale chicanes to add even more challenges, the event features vintage race cars and motorcycle in 5 run groups: Group 1 is for 1900 to 1950, "Open Wheeled" race cars, Group 2, is made up of 4-cylinder cars, Group 3 is for 6-cylinder cars, and Group 4 is made up of 8 and 12 cylinder race cars. Group 5 is dedicated to vintage racing motorcycles, always a crowd pleaser.

Each of the run groups wii have two run sessions during the day. Each run session is 20 minutes long for a total of 40 minutes of track time! A hour long break at 12 noon gives you plenty of time to fix, relax, eat, talk to friends, or make some new ones. The paddock will be alive with some great machinery and great people! The entry fee is $200.

During the 12 noon break we have one other group for NON vintage car and bike owners. This is Group 6 and we call it "Lunchtime Touring". Unlike the race car and motorcycle groups, Lunchtime Touring is a pace car lead session that give owners a chance to get on the track and have some controlled, safe, fun. This session also runs for 20 minutes. The entry fee is just $50!

The event gets started at 8:30 am with a Color Guard ceremony and our National Anthem. Cars go off at 9 am and follow a 2.2 mile course along Lincoln Highway encompassing the heart of the city and its neighborhoods.

Just want to watch? ADMISSION IS FREE! This epic motorsport event is free to the public. The Start/Finish line is located at 3rd and Lincoln Highway. First run group starts off at 9 am. Find a great spot along Lincoln Highway to watch all the action of the day. Fun for the whole family!

Location Elephant Butte Inn, 401 Hwy 195, Truth or Consequences, NM, USA
Date September 26, 2019

3 days of British car camaraderie, friendly people driving, showing, and enjoying all types of British-made sports and family cars!!

BAOA is based in Albuquerque, NM, and sponsors an annual event in a different city close to the Rio Grande River each year. Last year was in Taos, NM-( a Northern year), and this year, which is a Southern year, will be at Elephant Butte Lake, outside of Truth or Consequences, NM. We concentrate on a convoy from Albuquerque, through side-roads-but all paved-to the Elephant Butte Inn, on the shores of the Elephant Butte Lake.

Day #2 starts off with a 50-car British Car Show in downtown "T or C", followed with a Rally around the area and possibly out to a mining ghost town or two-the route is strictly secret-and there may be a trivia question or two-you never know! Each year is planned by a different person with different rules! At the end of the Rally, we get together to socialize-NO ONE is excluded! -and reminisce about the day.

Day #3 starts with an Awards Breakfast, with tile awards (by renown tile artist, Ace Fry) given out for the top scores in any 1 event, and top score in all events. In all, up to 45 awards will be given out. After breakfast, a North American Jag Club-sponsored slalom will be staged, as an optional event.

Call coordinators for a registration sheet and prices. Guaranteed fun for all!!

40th Annual "MGs On The Rocks" British Car Show

What was once just a gathering of a few local members for a picnic is now one of the premier annual events for all British car owners in the Mid Atlantic Region. Each year we have over 200 cars with MGs of all Models and 8 classes of other British Marques. Popular vote balloting by the car owners is from 10:00 until 1:00 and awards are given out about 3:00 p.m.

Winners, chosen by car owner peers, receive awards at their cars as the crowd walks around the show field at the end. This is one of the Murphy Cup winners for the Best MGB. If you place check our website for the picture!

Directions: From I-95 North of Baltimore take exit 77B, follow Rte. 24 West 13 miles, briefly merging with and then leaving US 1, then later crossing MD 23. After 13 miles, turn right across the one lane bridge at Cherry Hill. Pull into the 4H Camp and MGs on the Rocks on your left. Look for MG Octagon signs enroute. You can set your Navigation system to: 2 Cherry Hill Road, Street, MD 21154

If you love British cars this is the place to be the last Saturday in September. The Rocks State Park 4H Camp is an excellent country setting in rural Harford County, MD. Bring a picnic basket or purchase your lunch at the show and join the MGs of Baltimore for what has always been a superb show. Bring your parts shopping list for your ongoing renovation projects or your Christmas wish list for shirts and books. See you at the Rocks!

The things that have brought British car drivers back year after year will be there:
* A field full of British cars in a casual park setting
* Lots of vendors of new and used parts.
* A great selection of various British cars for sale.
* An unlimited supply of expertise on whatever technical or restoration problem you have.
* Classic British Invasion Era Music by Jammin Jefferson
* On site food by Uncle Moe’s Soul Food & Gill’s Ice
* A wide range of classes for awards for all British Marques.
Put your car on the field! Although we have many beautiful cars, this is very much a come as you are gathering. Only owners of cars on the field can vote.

Things To Remember

Pre-register! Awards are generally 3 per class, but may vary as pre-registration indicates. We base our new classes on pre-registrations, so if you want to justify any new classes make sure you pre-register. Dash plaques are only guaranteed to pre-registrants. Plus you can drive right past that long line of on site registrants!
Important times: The field opens at 9:00 a.m., all vendors should be in place by 10:00 a.m. Voting is closed at 1:00. Awards will take place on the showfield as soon after 3:00 as vote counting allows.
Sorry, no pets please, Park Rules.

Lodging is available at Exit 77A of I-95,
Days Inn – 410 671-9990
Comfort Inn – 410 679-0770
