Good day Group:

Going through a box of old tools and bits I find three grease Guns which I would ask for suggested applications.

In the attached photographs, he types hopefully, they are identified as:

Top: Tecalemit......Brass (except for tip), no Part Number(s) found, tool about 5-3/8" inches in length (146mm):
Mid: Tecalemit......Aluminium, around the thumb screw filler opener (raised) Cat. N° G.C. 3020, tool about 8¾" in length (222.25mm):
Bot: Enots.............Steel, on the filler cap (engraved) Part N° 1H, tool about 9¾" in length (247.60mm)

I reckon hey were common to several UK vehicles, so I call upon those who may know for assistance.

I think your Enots #1 is appropriate for MGA.

The little brass one was popular with motorbikes. The middle one looks like Jaguar, does it have a blue plastic disc on the handle? Very similar to the bent-handle type used in MG's like the Y type.

I have the one in the middle that goes very well to inject oil into the steering rack.

Yes, the middle one is for Jaguar all models mid 50s to mid 60s. Some have the blue dot in the handle and some don't.
Enots is the name of the company owner Stone spelled backwards.

I have a strange set up involving trying to complete an e-message on this forum site ! If I attempt to locate a "search" via "Google", any message content I have typed disappears, including the message page ? So this is my third go !

A Tecalemit "Google" search was crowned by opening the "Images" for same. Many examples of the gun, including the two in question, are shown by photographs.

An Enots (is that an anagram for Stone by the way ?) gun, search under model # 1H, was also enhanced by that "Images" section. Numerous styles including the one in question appear. In fact there is a side bar to the section offering a similar model for sale and reportedly found in an M.G. TD tool kit ?

Again, thanks to all who answered my grease gun poser.

I will try searching for the "King Dick", 3" and 4" adjustable spanners which are in the same box, before resorting to annoying you with another of my trivial enquiries. Also the question over the flat spanners for the T-type M.G. tool kit having a "hex opening vs a round opening" will also be a forth coming quest.

Jack this may interest you. Enots made other types that look the same. Mine is stamped "No 1 D".

If you intend to use it I found a safe way to carry it in my tool kit without getting grease every where. I wrap it in clinging food wrap and put it in a gallon zip lock bad and in a holder I made. Picture of the holder in next input. Need to take picture. Sorry.

Here is your second one in a Jaguar XK150.
Grease guns were a huge market from the 1920s into the 1970s, and there were many varieties manufactured, small for motorcycles, large for shops, and medium for cars.
I have Tecalemits in 3 of my Jaguars, but I cleaned them out and carry them empty.

My wife bought a wonderful tool roll at the Amelia Island Concours in 2018. The roll is a reproduction. The tools are original. The jack, jack handles, tire tool, and hand crank are original to my TF.

The grease gun in the tool roll is an Enots "Pattern 1D". It has a screw off cover on the end. Barney Gaylord (MGA Guru) says "I think the 1D model was used in MG TD, and the 1H model was used in MG TF and early production MGA." I don't know the accuracy of the statement.

MG TA/TB Service Parts List dated Sept 1939 shows part #A884 for the grease gun through Chassis #TA2517. From Chassis #TA2518 and beyond, the grease gun is part #A1121.

I don't have a TC Service Parts List.

MG TD Service Parts List AKD 834 and MG TF Service Parts List AKD804 both show the grease gun in the tool roll with part #180954.

MGA Service Parts List shows the grease gun in the tool roll with part #BHA4076

I can post photos of tool rolls from MG documents for some models if you want.

OLD STUFF ... houses, furniture, cars, wine ... I love it all

It appears from the 1936/37/38 T-Type Midget Instruction Manual that my '37 TA should have what looks like an ENOTS gun.
There are probably a bunch of them on ebay uk, but I wonder which one.
All I have is the starter crank.

Interesting that the top brass one is a Tecalemit one. I have one exactly the same but made by Enots. I have the packaging somewhere. I use it for oil rather than grease.
