To the best of my knowledge, no. It's just one of many tools they made post war. I don't believe that stamping appeared until the mid 40s at least, so it couldn't be from an early M.G.

1937 MG TA "Sweet Jeanine"
The picture of the TA tools in the TA manual shows one like that, but no brand name is given.
I have seen that spanner more commonly with the King Dick or the Shelley brand on them.
Let me know if you want to sell it.

That actually is a King Dick tool. "Abingdon" was a line they had post-war. That particular wrench may have come in a car tool kit but not necessarily.

The N Series Magnette tool kit illustration also shows a similar type of spanner, but again no description of the brand is given. In my photo the War Finish spanner has "Abingdon" stamped on the other side.

The spanner with 1954 stamped on, also has the crows foot mark, which means supplied to the military.

Yes, the “broad arrow”.

Those are cute little spanners, I have never seen any that small. At least not in any of the auto jumbles here in California.

On the tool topic, does anyone have a picture of the feeler gauge set used for the TD? Does it have a brand name?. I am also looking for the lucas distributor tool with feeler gauge and a head spanner. I see them on Ebay in the UK, but have not gotten a response if they will ship to the US.
