I found this car in a field in Alabama for $1200.00. The radiator support was in bad shape, and I ultimately removed it to fit a new Radiator. Rust isn't bad, but it is in the normal places.
After a bit of tinkering, the car now runs great. The hydraulic clutch still needs some work, but it shifts and drives.
This winter (2025), I am starting to strip the body down, address the rust, and prep the car for paint. I am also replacing the carpet and reupholstering these seats. I don't intend to make the car perfect. I love these first-gen MGBs and searched for years (about 10, actually) for one that I could tinker with, make my own, and drive any time I want without worrying about it.
