Hi everyone, I have been following this site for a few years now, but this is my first post.
I'm up to the electrics in my TD restoration and it looks like there has been a lot of modifications going on behind the dashboard! The PLC.6 ignition switch has 5 pins to connect wires to. I know how the following 3 pins are used; A(from regulator A1) H(for Headlights) T(for sidelights/taillights).
The question I have is what are the L and A3 pin used for ? In the photo the central pin is A3. I have a wiring diagram that shows white ignition wires should connect to the switch(called IG) and I'm pretty sure that it should be to the A3 pin. Can anyone confirm this please ?
The PO had added some wires to the the A3 and L pin to power an extra electric water temp gauge I think.
Thanks
Carlo B.
PS. Added a photo to show the original wiring behind the dash.
