Working with the mg-cars.org.uk website adminstrator/owner, together we built a read only access to that sites TD/TF forum. This was the go to place for decades and I am guessing that 90% of the questions that you ask, have been answered before by the experts you seek out here and others who have passed on. This way you can get instant responses to the issues you seek out.
I made it as easy to use as I could and you do not have to have an account to search the contents. You will find the search tool at this website:

Brilliant! Yes, the majority of questions asked on this board were answered many years ago. Many of those true experts have long passed, but their knowledge lives on! There were guys that worked on nuclear subs and were physics professors- they knew a lot. Thanks so much for making the database so accessible! George

Well done Christophe,
Indeed, it's very practical.
I must confess with amazement that I've just discovered that there's a forum. And it was at the very bottom of the page that I discovered its logo. I hadn't made the connection with BBS Enthusiasts. Maybe because of the green background color.
Now I understand better the reason for finding questions on both sites.
Thanks Christophe.
Sincerely, Thierry from South of France

there was a guy there that had worked on the assembly line in the 50s to the 70s , he came to several gofs as a guest speaker , I remember him from a meet in tronto , he knew about the cars that were shipped in primer (was a gold color) things that with the right info you can find in the records but never made the books, would also be helpful to have records from inskip as they made many modifications the holley carb kit was if not their creation ,much used in mountainous areas
