Still works that way.
185 mm = tire width
Ratio4 = the sidewall is 70% as big as the tire width
14 = wheel diameter
Also, rolling diameter is the key to watch when switching sizediameter, try to maintain the OEM RD, for example, when people go to a 15"x6" , I recommend 195/60/15, it is almost the exact same RD as 185/70/14. If go well below the rolling diameter, the tire looks too small, if you go too big it looks like 4WD. The goal is to change a tire size/diameter, but not change your rolling diameter, or not by much.
