I have a Bosch relay, that has never been used but is not in the the original packaging. It has an 87 and an 87A terminal. Is the 87A terminal the same as *& or is it for a different purpose.
Thanks

Terminal 87a which is the center terminal completes the circuit with terminal 30 when the relay is not energized, and breaks continuity when the relay is energized by putting 12v through 85 and 86 to ground, in which case the 87 through 30 circuit is completed. This allows you to do some interesting things with these relays.
