I saw some where that the paddy hopkirk accelerator pedal cover fits the early 62-67 accelerator pedal, will it fit a 74 cb accelerator pedal too?

Jon; I cannot speak for the 1974 design-my guess is with modification of the original factory pedal it will work-it may require reshaping the factory pedal face. It does work on an MKII. Because it is a bit wider, heel and toe is improved for aggressive driving. I would perhaps do a cardboard or thin metal sheet mock-up to examine how it may fit. I do not have mine here so I cannot take the Paddy Hopkirk pedal face measurements for you. I do caution you in that the new face is very close to the carpet as it is quite a bit wider. Amco did make a scuff plate for the transmission tunnel to help avoid extra carpet wear. These were polished stainless and would be a simple projet to replicate. The photo is of an original-the reproduction one of both the Speedwell version and the Paddy Hopkirk version is good. God Bless! Tony Brown RN mgbbrown

I have an extra 67 pedal, are they interchangeable? Would I be able to swap it over?

Jon, I have never tried it. Check the upper portion of the pedal pivot and if they are the same you should be in business. It may also require a throttle cable change. Here is a photo of one early type of Speedwell pedal. God Bless! Tony Brown RN mgbbrown

Nice Bob! Mine came in a hideous green and black blister pack with a picture of Paddy on the cardboard front- it was my first period accessory and I unfortunately did not take a photo of it. Speedwell also offered their version in aluminum alloy and a hard composite material, and there were several smaller runs by various suppliers of Mini Cooper specific accessories too. God Bless! You could swap out your 1974 accelerator pedal with a later model pedal -
