Not bad actually. Here's an old shot, one that may quite likely have sparked a certain BMW design.
Jim

But the problem with these is, you keep getting asked if it's a Porch or something.

You see quite a few MGs with cut down wind screens leaving the top of the glass open and the car open, but here's a Midget from England that really is "chopped" and very well done.

Sort of reminds me of the new T-Bird in the front view. Very nice work, but as you modify and remove the styling cues the identity of the car can start to become muddled. That is why I went back to bodywork which retains and emphasizes the identifying characteristics. Nobody even recognized the car as British any more, and that just wasn't right.

Here's another view, notice the shape of the vent windows at the top, no longer come to a point.

that's a neat look...I've not seen the flat front end before. I sure hope that has some serious engine beneath that bonnet to go with the flames and those wheels.
The silver one starts to look a bit like some AC's - very nice.

The Chop Shop MGB is getting a LOT more respect here on the V8/V6 forum than it did on the MGB forum.

Imagine that.

I hated seeing what looked like a very nice GT, being chopped up. Wish they had used a rusty old roadster instead. Oh well......

I finally saw the show on rerun yesterday and if I were a self respecting Brit who had any appreciation at all for an MGB, I would go down to that chamber of horrors and blow it to smithereens. These clowns give the UK a really bad name making a POS like that. I have never seen such an abomination in my life.

And what is this about it being a race car? My stock Silverado can run the 1/4 mile faster than that thing carrying a load of trash to the dump. What tech inspector would pass a car with 4-5" wheel spacers like that thing had? I can't imagine what the car would handle like with that much scrub radius or how long the wheel studs would last with that kind of leverage acting on them.

Apparently from the intro to the show, this was not the first car they sodomized . How can these guys be allowed to live much less put them on television?

My $0.02

I fully agree Jim!!

The show brewed up a frenzy among folk who knew no better. But it also created a s**t storm amongst serious UK car modifiers.

In fact. The Gangster car they built has been purchased by a VW club and will be on display at Santa Pod Drag strip next month. It will be on display for several hours in the Monster truck arena. That is until they open the doors and let Podzilla out....

You can guess the rest huh??
