mgb roadster rear brake part use

Have new rear brake cylinders and springs kit , adjuster etc on order as all seized up, current shoes are fine
plus a rear hand brake bootlever....... unsure where that fits any advice ??
plus handbrake lever pull off spring any advice would be helpful Haynes manual confusing

I am always surprised as to how people install that circlip, forcing it over the end. Why not install it like any other C clip? Put ends in the slot and then force home with pliers or similar.
