I've scoured my Clifton manual and wire schematics but I can't figure out what this part is. I have a 1975 Federal 1500.

It's a cylindrical object in front of and slightly to the right of the master cylinder. There's a hard line running to it but nothing leaving it that I can see. There's also a bundle of five or six wires ran to it that go through a clip.

Thank you.

Looking at the wiring schematic I kind of wondered if that wasn't the case but it's so far away from anything else related to the windshield wipers I thought I was on the wrong track. Getting my windshield wipers is on my list of components that need to be fixed.

Is the Hardline going back through the firewall air or hydraulics that move the windshield wipers?

In that "hard line" is a mechanical cable that moves in and out to move the wipers. smiling smiley
