Does anyone know what part this is? I found it on the floor under my 74 MGB today, near the flywheel housing. It has black residue through its center which may mean it's part of the fuel or emissions system.

Looks like the reducer that goes in the hose at the air pump.

When diagnosing issues related to running and stalling, always check to see if you have gas in the tank first.
