I have, what I think, is an MGB timing cover and crank pulley on my 1500 MGA.

My question is what are the degrees of the timing marks on both the cover and pulley

So if I understand the graphic, the pointers register BTDC, and my picture shows me at 20* BTDC.

Add a mark on the pulley that lines up with the TDC mark when you have the original TDC mark lined up at 14 BTDC. Now you can use that mark on the pulley to line up with the 20 degree mark on the cover to get yourself set up to an appropriate 34 degrees total timing. Your car will run hot going down the road at 7 degrees static. With stock advance springs in an MGA, you'll likely only have 24-28 degrees total timing (not including vacuum advance). Make sure to disconnect that line to set this up. It'll be worth the effort!!!
