I have, what I think, is an MGB timing cover and crank pulley on my 1500 A.

My question is what are the degrees of the markings on both the cover and pulley?

Yep, thanks!

All marks at BTDC, with TDC the most clockwise one. That is what confused me. Car runs well at 7*BTDC now

Probably not a bad idea to mechanically find TDC and see this the timing marks line up. You would be surprised what you find.

Just pull the number 1 spark plug and hand crank slowly until it’s at its highest point. It may take one or two times of doing it to get it just before it starts to drop down. And compare that to the timing marks
