Solved
Good day.
I am trying to remove my drivers side hand brake cable on my TC to try and improve how it works and lubricate it but have come to a dead end unless I want to destroy it.
The problem is where the inner cable feeds through the guide that bolts on the chassis just behind the adjuster nut.
There is a bolt that stops the cable from sliding out the slot but the inner cable feeds through a small ring inside and have no idea how that comes out if in deed it does.
Because of that I cannot feed the cable out of the chassis where it crosses to the otherside.
I am not sure if the greasing mechanism will feed through the other direction but my intention was to not disturb where it enters the backing plate but to feed everything out into a tub where I could soak it in degreaser or like to help free it up.
So far I have heated it with a butane torch and sprayed WD40 and wobbled the outer sheath so that it eventually releases after 30 seconds or so but as the shoes release there is less tension to fully free the cable 100% untill driving and using brakes.
Any suggestions
Thanks Ian Theobald

Hi again .
The part I am having difficulty with is the Hand brake anchoring clevis which is bolted to the chassis.
The inner cable feeds through a small ring inside .
Maybe the ring stops the outer sheath from moving forward but sits smack bang in the middle and is too wide to remove out of the slot.
The clevis has a slot for the cable to be fitted and a small bolt .
The problem is I cannot get that inner ring to move or turn so then cannot remove the inner cable so as to feed out of the chassis to lubricat it.
I tried the grease nipple but grease just oozed out at the join of the greaser.
Any suggestions.

Doug Pelton sorted the issue.
It seems that there must be a small washer at the end of the outer sheath in front of a felt washer.
This metal washer must be jamned inside the cable guide so will be a case of tapping it back out hopefully and then I can remove the cable and feed out of the chassis
