Hi everyone,

My RVC 1410/00 tachometer fried on me. Accidentally had power touch the case. The resistors seem OK, but most of the capacitors are not. I was wondering if anyone has repaired their RVC tachometer with the Spiyda Analogue Tachometer Driver Board -573-, or any other solution with success? I’ve read a lot on the RVI - RVC conversion; that’s not what I’m looking for. The only RVC repair I see is a digital solution that Francois C created, but did not replicate.

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

Ask Spiyda - they have always been very responsive to questions. As long as the meter coil is approximately the same resistance I can't see any reason why the Spiyda kit wouldn't work.
