Some previous owner did a nice job of it. I kinda like the clean look.

What’s it look like inside the trunk?

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.

"Anyone with an intense emotional interest in a subject loses the ability to observe it objectively: You selectively perceive events. You ignore data and facts that disagree with your main philosophy. Even your memory works to fool you, as you selectively retain what you believe in, and subtly mask any memories that might conflict."

I recently welded up the rivet holes for the chrome trim on the side and the reverse lights also. I left the holes for the side markers but welded up the small holes for the hardware. My intent is to install some small led side markers in the remaining holes. I think the be looks nicer with the clean shaved look

I think removing the marker lights and shaving the fender beads really adds to the look of these cars.

Fixing to do mine, too. I'm going for a more-or-less early look on my '80 - chrome bumpers, etc.

I would try to keep the fender beads if they aren't damaged or badly rusted. They are one of the iconic styling cues that identify the car. Goes well with the 3 wipers and the unique tail light lenses. But the marker lights? Those things never were anything but tacky. Not overly fond of the stainless beltline trim strip either but it's fine I suppose. Got rid of mine early on. Ditto the Rostyle wheels. Just a styling choice of course, YMMV.

Yeah, another U.S. mandate. Here's what it looks like inside. There isn't a trace of any side marker having been on the front fenders, so maybe the PO got some new fenders

Deleted my side markers when I restored my 1978. Everything including the boot badge and windshield squirters is true to a 1967. The front spoiler is a mod.

Looks rather elegant with those whitewalls and shiny hub caps Stacy... Don't believe I've ever seen a MGB with whitewalls before. A different look for sure, but they look good on your car.
