Hi MG enthusiast's,
Are these mirrors original equipment for a 72 MGB? They are spring loaded and can twist 360 degrees.
oops, wrong place. Moved to MGB & GT.

I am not 100% sure they are "original factory equipment", but that style of mirror is commonly used on the B and C.

Here is Barney’s take on mirrors.
NO mirrors were originally installed by factory.
All mirrors were added after completion. Most were installed by the selling dealer to meet either customer wants or local regulations.
Picture is of the most common mirror used on an MGA. (My picture pulled back off Barney’s site)
They were often centered over the front wheel.
An absolutely terrible place imho. Ugly, hard to adjust, easy to bump and not very good coverage.
If you insist on mirrors find a way to mount them on the windshield posts. Many have shown this option.

I had a white 59 MGA a few years ago, sold it to a German Who drove it to Cali and shipped it overseas.
