Hello Folks:

I am bouncing over from the Triumph Forums to see if you can help Identify a Ring and Pinion for me.

I purchased this a year ago as a Triumph TR4 part, but just set it aside becuase I didn't need it at the time.

When did get around to opening it up I noticed it was MOWOG Part number, obviously not a Triumph part. The P/N Is: Ring - Mowog -ATC7375-10/48 Pinion - ATC7376F

The 10/48 refers to the ratio.

Can you good folks help me identify what vehicle this goes to?

Thank you so much.

Rod

4.8:1.
That's a low ratio.
Definitely not a highway gear...

In 1974 when I was 18, I passed on buying a running and driving 1966 Jaguar E-Type coupe for $1,500, which is what they were selling for at the time.
Fifty years later, I'm still kicking myself...
