Guys
My memory just ain't what it used to be. I know we had a discussion a while back on front springs... damned if I can find it.
Who sells the proper front springs these days? IIRC it was someone across the pond.
I want to replace my "MGB" springs that I bought many many moons ago. Should have done this during the resto but I forgot about them truthfully.
Easy enough swap anyway.

I bought new coil springs from Scarborough Faire in October 2021. They surprised me. The parts were openly advertised as being intentionally taller than original springs to "compensate for sag". When the new parts arrived they were actually spot on correct for all dimensions including the correct height within 1/8-inch. Correct wire diameter, coil diameter, number of active coils and height, all making for the correct spring rate and correct ride height. 2-1/2 years and 45,000 miles on, still good, still sitting at correct ride height, no sag.

When we rebuilt my rear springs with new bushings, they had a slight sag due to the well aged steel leafs. We replaced the front coils with a slightly lower and stiffer MGB set, thay perfectly balanced the height. I recall they came from moss USA and, they are red! Lol
The result lowered the car by an inch or so. Lower is better than higher, slightly stiffer and smooth with a front bar.
