My old wiper switch was pretty corroded, so I ordered new parts from Moss. Handle, screw, and switch bar.
The bar fits on a brass tag that moves over the two power terminals to turn on the wiper. The switch bar comes with an indent that the brass tag fits on. I tried peening the end of the switch bar over the brass tag, but it did not work well. While working on the wiper today, the switch bar fell off.
Not expensive, so I ordered another. My question is, has anyone put one of these on and how did you do it?

Gentlemen,
The replacement switch handle is made of soft pot metal like the original. The stub end of the handle passes through the motor cover and then a washer with a center hole that matches the rectangular end of the stub. The end of the stub is then peened over to retain the washer, there by holding the switch handle to the motor cover. The easy way to do all this is to gently grasp the end of the switch handle upside down in your bench vice, then place the motor cover on the stub, then place the washer on the end of the stub and peen it in place.
