Today's Life Lesson: Never, EVER, buy two MG's at the same time! They will preproduce when you aren't looking! I guess the new fuel pump I put in the Midget was a little too "pumpy", if you get my meaning...

Oil leak?? What oil leak? That puddle under the car is just sweat from all that horsepower!!

Sometimes a "good deal" turns out to be not such a good deal once you get into it. But, MGs are easy to work on and working on MGs is a lot more fun than going to work.

Cobbler, I actually traded a motorcycle I had laying around for the MG and $250. The bike was running and riding, and this is very obviously a project, but the absolute worst-case scenario is that it becomes a pile of donor parts for my '76 'B. I haven't had time to really dig into it yet, but you're 1000% correct that a working on an MG is more fun than going to work!
