All of that means higher prices I have dealt with Rimmer bros. in the past, great customer service but... a bit higher prices not much but higher.
I think is a good merge. Hopefully.
It is our attitude that will determine the outcome

We'll see. Usually an equity firm looks at numbers and if they aren't high enough for their greedy investors, they'll liquidate and we'll all be screwed.
Another possibility (also not my favorite) is that for all the talk of greater parts availability, the New Boss will close out of legacy parts that don't move fast enough off the shelves, keeping only those that offer the greatest short- and mid-term revenue streams.
Consolidation rarely abets diversity.

This. Google the story of Breyer's ice cream or why mattresses suck and you'll see why private equity firms ruin markets.I don't know. It's always smoked like that/made that sound/done that.
