I placed an order with MacGregor on April 20 and on the 21 I got an email saying my order was recieved and it would be processed when payment had been arranged.
I have not heard back from them to setup payment. I have emailed 2 since to make sure I had not missed an email but still NO response. Is this their normal practice?
I will try to call.

Yes! Call Martin by phone. That’s the best way to contact him.
I see posts about Martin often pertaining to his response time. Sometimes those posts are a bit harsh. What I think many fail to grasp in these days of Amazon 2 day shipping, crappy Chinese quality and instant email response, is that Martin is from a different time. As an example, if you want to order with a credit card be prepared to call him on the phone as he does not do online credit card ordering and he is going to process your credit card with a credit card imprinter receipt from the 1970’s. He will also spend time on the phone telling you exactly how they installed products on the original MGB assembly line and tips and tricks to install his products. He is a wealth of knowledge and willing to share it. His seals are beyond anything you can get from Moss or any other distributor. If you don’t believe me order his lower windshield seal. You can read dozens of posts online of people talking about the weekend they spent trying to Install a lower seal. Trying to pry it into the aluminum channel. I mentioned this to Martin and he assured me. “My seal will slide right in.” A squirt of dawn liquid an I inserted the entire seal by pushing it straight into the channel in less than 3 minutes. The tolerances were perfect. His MGB hardtop seals are also of the highest quality. The Moss seals I ordered and eventually replaced were absolute garbage. Martin is an amazing guy. He runs a slow, deliberate, and quality operation. If you want fast and cheap, there are tons on places to go. That’s not Martin.
