I'm rebuilding an older set of Lockheed brake calipers I had sitting on my shelf and when I went to replace the seal between the two halves, I found that the o-ring doesn't seem to fit as I expected. These are the .500" inch caliper O-ring seals but the port on my calipers measure closer to .574" It's enough of a difference that if the o-ring shifts the ports will be outside the o-ring.
Do I have a set of oddball calipers or is there another part number I need to be looking at?

The picture on Moss' web page appears to be larger than 1/2" OD.

It's easy to find EPDM o-rings in the right size (dash 203) for this application, but I never did find the square cut EPDM o-rings in the right size. I didn't feel comfortable using the round profile o-rings in this application which is a shame because they come out to about $.15 each. Buna-N or Viton o-rings are out too because brake fluid sweats right through them.
In the end the Moss 180-285 o-rings were a perfect fit.
