Hi
Second time I ran out of fuel and both at home ! Yep lucky.
I have read through the calibration tech here and since one must drop the tank as it is, I went looking for a lifetime solution.

Holley/Classic Instruments link above.
Anyone done this yet ?
Thanks

It's programable, so it should be able to be set to work with pretty much any electric fuel gauge. The only issue I see is mounting it. The sending unit for your Midget is mounted with 6 screws, whereas the Holley unit is only 5. I'm also unsure if the diameter's of each are close enough to work. I'm sure that you can get it to work, but it's just a question of how much effort you want to put into it.

I figure I have to drop it so why not ?
I suspect an adapter plate will do the job for the bolts.
I'll see if Classic Instruments has more to add and maybe post a tech paper

How do you calibrate this system? Start with an empty tank and measure as you fill?
