Posted a picture the other day.Here is some more pictures to try and date and see if this head can go on early 3main 1800. Head should clean up nice. All the threads are good and no visible signs of cracks or damage.
Also have the HRG weber intakes and cabs.

That's a Mk 4 head. You,re good to go, but my comments from the other post still apply. If you want to get all this head has available put it in the hands of someone who knows how to optimize it before bolting it to the block and tuning it.

The two best people for information are Sean Brown and Peter Burgess. They may be too far away to do the work for you but they should be happy to advise anyone you choose to do the work.

Attached is a photo of a Mk 4 combustion chamber.

You head was made in May 1963.

Yes. The combustion chambers on these heads were typically given a nice smooth finish, not left rough cast. The chamber in my above post shows some erosion around the exhaust valve seat having done many miles. The inlet ports and manifolds typically are not even and matched as well as can be and that is where extra attention will show benefits.
