I wish to replace the rear suspension of my 1972 GT but I get different answers, some say 6 blades, others 7 blades.
What is the best as I don't want my car to be too high ?
Thanks for your answers .

Generally leaf springs and coil springs available can be pretty hit/miss for ride height.

Are your existing springs having issues? Too high or too low or too soft?

My english is too poor to understand clearly what you mean by " be pretty hit/miss for ride height." ? Do you mean they are irregular ?

Presently my springs (6 leafs or blades) are old and too low not soft. I need to gain some height for confort and not to scrap the car bottom on the sleeping policemen.

you can have your originals re-arched to regain lost height.
