1972 MG MGB GT "Monty"
Good afternoon everyone,

Just a quick one. Is the Engine bay paint the same as the rest of the car? I'm having some welding done in the engine bay and will need to repaint a portion of it.
My car is a 1972 GT, in original Glacier White paint for reference.

Assuming it is the same paint (which is my assumption), can any of my fellow British MG owners recommend a paint supplier that will sell me a decent quality aerosol that matches the original paint as well as possible?

Thanks in advance!

It will be the same as the exterior paint. The code for Glacier White is BLVC59 and there are numerous places on-line that you can order aerosols from, like here:

Or find a local supplier, a quick search brings up this place where you could go and get it mixed and probably get some advice on compatible primers.

I didn't read Tony's links. Are you aware that you can buy spray (rattle) can paint as a 2pac?
