As part of my restoration I am welding up the luggage rack holes (pic 2) in the boot lid and replacing the MG emblem (that was glued on) and was wondering about the quality of the moss and other emblems. Looks like I have the original 13 holes (pic 1) from the original location but not the holes for the MGB emblem above the MG. So two questions are the quality of emblems and the location of the MGB logo. I have seen a message that said there is an inch between them. Thanks for your experience and knowledge.

The quality of the trunk emblem from Moss is very good. This is what mine looks like after a repaint after choosing to reinstall the luggage rack. The distance between the top bar of the emblem and the top of the bar that goes through MGB is 1 3/4 inches.
