Anyone have a pic or diagram of the Enrichment Device cable hookup on a DCOE carb. Logically, mine seems to be backwards. The lever is slammed to the back (towards firewall) meaning I would have to push a cable to get it to react while initial cold starting.

See attached pic. Car cabin is to the right.

Thinking of adding a cable but can’t decipher how it would work.

Thanks.

The actuating device comes right or left handed. You have the one that would be correct if the carburetor was mounted on the other side of the engine. You can use this one if you bend a piece of 3/16" OD brake line in a U shape and mount it in the cable end fitting. Then fit a longer inner cable.

Thanks. That’s what I figured.

This might be a dumb follow up question but does it matter if the left side carb is mounted on the right side, other than for the enrichment device?

No, the carbs are not “sided”
Only the attachments such as throttle and choke hardware.

This was my simple solution....just use a longer cable and loop it around the front....
