Our newest albums is an inspiration of dashboards and gauges that we've Designed. A couple of photos of other peoples finished dashboards (Yellow Midget for example) were sent to us, or other dashboard design items that we have considered (such as Jaguar and Aston Martin designs).

This is the first version of the panel in my BV8. Nothing too fancy but the white-face gauges are decals applied to the original dials. The speedo has since been swapped to a Speedhut unit but the other gauges remain the same.
I’ll find and post a photo of the dash from the ‘70 BGT V8 I once owned. I installed a full set of Speedhut gauges in a Mark III dash.
"Speed costs........how fast you want to spend?"

I assume mine is of little use as it's RHD and steel for underneath the plastic binnacle the Factory used to encase the gauges lies the steel dash albeit with 80mm holes, central rocker switch cutouts, face vents orientated 90 degrees to NA cars plus a real glovebox lid.
FWIW I removed that binnacle (4 screws) and used #35 here as a surround (carbon fibre hydrodipped) into which I placed Smiths Telemetrix GPS speedo and tacho plus a Dakota Digital digital speedo in the centre. The rocker cutouts replaced with a panel from a Mini R50 and the face vents are from carbuilders for my a/c.
Mk1: CKD 11/66 first registered 8/5/67; owned since 3/77. 18GB +40 balanced. Peter Burgess BVFR head. Piper 285. 123. FidanzaFW. 4synch c/r box. Lots more as I did a nut and bolt rebuild; finished 2015. Tartan Red.
GT: December '78. VW Golf guards, flush fit front and rear valances. Torana XU1 vents, frenched indicators & Mk1 rear lights. 'Worked' Rover V8 with Monsoon ECU for EFI. GM4L60E, Lokar tiptronic & Quick4 controller. Vintage Air A/C. FC IFS. CCE 4 link rear. Salisbury with Quaife. Jaguar Storm.

The yellow on is my Midget with a Midget crash rail
The B dash is the original dash with a leather overlay from JF Customs off ebay
The other B dash that is going into my V6 car is from Andy Jennings and I haven't decided whether to make it body color or wrap it in leather too

Doesn't matter at all, Barrie. LHD is just mirror image of RHD. Add your dash to the collection.

I assume mine is of little use as it's RHD...

Still a work in progress. Fairly traditional layout. I'm changing a/c vent to 2" plus I have two 2" gauges to add (clock and gear indicator) but I'm not sure where yet. They might go in a DIY console as I need something for my a/c controls.
PS gauge surrounds also hydrodipped.

Hi Victoria,
These are Miata seats in my '72 MGB (ex California)
I have choosen the older Mazda MX-5 (as we call them in Europe) N/A or N/B type of seats.
They have seperate headrests which give them a more vintage look than those with integrated headrests of later Miata models.
I had them reupholsterd in leather.
They fit perfectly but mm-tight in the MGB.
I have made a subframe between the seat and the car floor.
Hope this is the answer you expected.
Best regards
Jef
