Hello everyone.

I am in the process of rebuilding a supercharger for my TD. I could be totally wrong but I think the period correct carb was an H4? I’m also looking for needle and jet recipes if someone can recommend anything or a good starting point. Elevation is 1500ft and I’m in the Midwest USA.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you have a Judson you are rebuilding there. If you have the original carb that was used with the Judson, then you need a .100 jet and the needle they came with was an RA. Beware that the H4 carbs used with both the MGTF and the MGA are not the same as the H4 used on the Judson and also the MGTD MK II
But I believe that the TF and MGA type would work just as well. I would start with the RA and see if it suits the build.

I have photos if you need to see visual differences.

That's a huge help. Thank you.

That is correct! I've designed replacement parts and machined them on our 5 axis mill.

I don't have the original carb but I hope to source one soon. I have a ways to go before I'm ready but trying to be proactive.
