On the cover of the Ladybird How It Works Book on The Motorcar is an underbonnet rendering of some British car. We have been trying to identify it.
Looks like an A Series engine installed the long way, single SU, Smith's heater box, windscreen wiper motor on left side of the bay, large battery under the bonnet, and is that an MG grille? Or maybe Wolseley?
Or is the whole thing just a fantasy of the artist to make a good book cover?
Thanks in advance!!!
