Solved
I had a spare belt and realized I should have just changed it, since it was 14 years since I installed the supercharger. That being said I didn't expect a section on the belt to fail, wrap around the idler pulley and crush it.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a metal pulley replacement? There is a Moss part number in the installation instructions but nothing comes up on their site.

Jackson Racing put together the supercharger kit for Moss. I've had a few issues with my supercharger kit in the 20 years since I installed it, but nothing like you have experienced. However, Moss should be able to assist you in locating a replacement idler pulley. RAY

After doing some research it looks like Moss made a supercharger for JRSC used on Hondas and Miatas. It has the same part number and it appears to be a $60 part. I found a company 1320 Performance that makes a idler pulley out of stainless for a JRSC supercharger with the same specs as mine. I need to verify the 3/8th bore, but it is also $60 and free shipping. This seems like a no brainer if the bore is the same.

I could not me happier Excellent quality solid stainless steel idler pully exact same specs as the nylon pulley. Side by side and you can see the damage the belt did to the nylon pulley.

That isn't normal. I have around 70K miles on one of my blowers and the pulleys were fine. I actually wore out the bearings in them, but the pulleys could still be used.
