I lowered my 79 B a year ago. It handles much nicer. I replaced the bushing on the lever arm shocks and then also drained and refreshed the lever arm shocks. There is no leaking on the shocks and both seem to work fine. I do get the occasional bottoming out on the right front but nowhere else. I have not replaced the bushings on the spring arm pivot or the sway bar bushings. Is that what I should look at next?

Joe,when you lowered the front did you install the shorter bump stops?Could be a faulty damper or wrong fluid used to fill the shock back up.

I did put in the shorter bump stops and motorcycle fork oil. Made sure the pile was correct. The lever arm schools are not the issue. It is interesting that the bump stops are not part of the lowering g kit.

I would think short stops would be included, lowered my car also but all suspension parts bushings, kingpins etc where replaced. Is it actually bottoming out or noise when hitting bumps?Check tie rod ends and all bushings that weren't replaced when you lowered it.
