I sent my distributor to Jeff with the worksheet completed. It cam back looking so pretty. (Thanks Jeff)

Now come the time to get it back in the car. Well it is in and set to the 15 Degrees BTDC.

Not running well. Coughs and hesitates. Coughing less after warm up.

I did static timing to get car started and used timing light to set to 15 degrees.

While turning the distributor, I got shocked. Is that normal or did I miss pushing the wires in tight enough.

Distributor 25D

currently the vacuum is turned near the heater, seems far for my opinion

Remind me please should a distributor shock me (mildly)?

Your ignition wires are bad. Replace them. Make sure you have a good ground wire on the car.
