I'm looking for a set of used turn signal/ wiper switches to see if they will fit the steering column of my 61 Morris Minor. I've salvaged an early wiper switch and two-speed wiper motor and t's all set to go, accompanied by a new Minor signal switch but... I've not found a way to mount the wiper switch as it would attach to the plastic housing. I want to retain all it's functions, including the "push to wash" as I'm adding a squirter pump, nozzle and reservoir.

These both look like they'll work if they fit over the column. One is available on US eBay, but at $186 USD it might be an expensive mistake (one of many, I find, when dong a Resto-Mod). I hope to find an inexpensive pair for use or a mere trial fit. I'm guessing that some member of the forum has unnecessary old parts that they're willing to part with cheap.

Not sure if it is practical given the postage costs between the UK and US but I have a late MGB stalk assembly you could have cheaply as I had to change mine when I transplanted an EPAS column into my B.
It is a single unit that clamps onto the column, one stalk does horn, indicators and hi/lo beam and the other stalk does 2 wiper speed positions (+ off) , a single wipe and push for screen wash. It has a built in ring to cancel the indicators after turning. Drop me a PM if youd like any photos. Again Im not sure how practical it would be to send but it maybe an option for you

Thanks for your quick reply!
It sounds just like what I'm looking for, and you're right about the postage cost factor. I'll continue to look closer to home and I'll keep your post in case nothing else shows up. In my google research, now lost, I ran across one that had a push for the horn on the left stalk and that sounds like a good feature as I have an aftermarket steering wheel that doesn't accommodate the original push button. I suppose the "flash lights" circuit might fill the bill if I managed to be careful to not use it. I hadn't planned on using that stalk for lights as I have a floor switch for high-low beam.
My goal for now is to locate the two speed wipers to the column.
