1977 vs 1973 midget body parts

Do the bumpers, wheels lights etc. interchange between a 1973 and 1977 midget ?

Hi Elizabeth,

The bumpers are not interchangable, but many rubber bumper owners remove their bumpers and replace them with older chrome bumpers. Takes a fair amount of work to accomplish this, but they like the chrome look. Headlights and taillights are interchangable. Front turn signal lights are not. Wheels are interchangable.

1975 MG Midget 1500 "Midge"
Front fenders are different, I believe the 75+ are 'stretched' downward in the arch to compensate for the 1" lift in the suspension.

Blinkers will be different as 75+ are mounted in the rubber bumpers.

I removed the RBs from mine & was able to mount the RB blinkers in the fender holes.
