Hi, is there a way to get to the internal captive nuts on the front mount for the rear leafs? Mine are not captive anymore and I can’t get the bolts tight. Any help or ideas would be appreciated before I just weld it in place sad smiley ….

If you're referring to the nuts that the rear 2 bolts on the spring hangers attach to,
AFAIK the nuts are welded to the body structure which was then enclosed (clearly not the best idea from the designers).

Is the metal in that area of your car very corroded? I think you may wind up rebuilding that box. I'd be surprised if the
captive nuts have broken free of otherwise solid sheet metal unless the original welds were defective.
