It is with a heavy heart that I must let go of one of my MGs. I am preparing for a move and can't take everything. This Midget runs and drives great and it has been my semi-daily driver for the past year or so. It has been very reliable for me.

Located in Raleigh, NC

$5000

1275 cc 4 cylinder, 4 speed
Chrome bumper, round wheel arches

**Pros:**
***Clean title*** in my name. No liens. Currently registered and fully legal.
Runs fantastic and always starts instantly
Very very little rust! Absolutely no holes in the original floors. The only rust is a few small pinholes in the back of the trunk floor.
Desirable round wheel arches in the rear – a feature only available a couple of years
1275 engine with original dual HS2 carbs – most desirable engine found in Midgets or Sprites
Engine has excellent compression: 166/163/162/160 psi
All gauges fully functional
Heater and defrost work well
All lights, signals, wipers, windshield washer, horn, etc. work well
Soft top in good condition

Also includes:
-Nice original tonneau and convertible top cover
-Extra chrome bumper
-Luggage rack for trunk lid

Brought into reliable condition with the following new parts in the last 1.5 years:
Tires / tubes
Brakes (rotors, caliper piston and seals, hoses, pads, drums, shoes, cylinders, springs, master cylinder, PDWA seals)
All suspension bushings (poly)
Sway bar links and shock links
Belt and all hoses (fuel, coolant, and vapor)
Tie rod ends and rack boots
Timing cover gasket and seals
Intake and exhaust gaskets
Ignition (points, condenser, cap, rotor, vacuum advance canister, wires, coil, plugs)
Carb tune up including poppet valve delete
Water pump
105 Amp CS130 alternator upgrade
Timing chain and sprockets
Clutch hydraulics (master rebuilt, new slave and hose)
Engine and transmission mounts, transmission gaskets and seals
Ujoints, Pinion seal
Door seals, convertible top header seal
Cockpit to trunk bulkhead
Wiper blades

**Cons:**
Clutch will sometimes chatter a bit if you are aggressive when starting out in 1st gear
A few rust pinholes in back of trunk floor
Paint job looks good from 20 feet but plenty of scratches and touched up areas
Some paint peeling near license plate area
Minor drips (mainly from the rear main, which did not have a conventional seal from the factory. The rear main seal leaked a bit from brand new in all A-series engines)
Missing a couple of the cosmetic interior panels (in the footwells)
Backlight for the oil/temp gauge is missing its bracket
One small patch over a ½” tear in the soft top
