NY? Come on, you can't judge the whole state by the city...Long Island for that matter. Jeez. For all those who don't know: this is a map of NY. The area in blue is NYMA(New York Metropolitan Area) the red is the rest of the state.

2. Washington, D.C.

3. New York

4. Wyoming

5. Massachusetts

6.Delaware (tie)

7. Vermont (tie)

8. New Jersey

OK, so my home state made it to 8th place.

I get the east coast.
I'm surprised California and Illinois aren't on there though.

Nothing more rude than FIBS on the freeway headed north to invade my quiet Wisconsin northwoods on a weekend. I'm pretty sure turn signals are optional equipment most don't bother to order. Either that or they're removed when they get the vanity plates...along with the majority of their cerebrum.

But...

Wyoming???

Are the Jackalopes PO'd??

There are so few humans in the "Cowboy" state, they're just looking for some human interaction. If that means they need to cut someone off to get it...oh well!lol!

73 MGB. Tires: Round, black, hold air. Oil: Sometimes old, sometimes new...always slippery. Oil filter: Yellow, usually full of oil. Carbs: 2 SU HIF. Distributor: Yes. Headlights: Not that bright but bright enough. A bunch of other stuff most cars have but not really important enough to itemize. Oh, wait...it has a cool sounding exhaust with stickers on the chrome tips. Really slays the ladies...

Guess I've missed out on all this rudeness, having confined my driving to the west coast for decades. I have to say that California drivers are quite good, IME.

Could it be the population of Wyoming is there mostly to avoid other people and they react rudely to avoid any friendly interaction with other humans?

Having lived in Vallejo, San Diego and Seal Beach...I stand by my statement. "The southern 5" suffers no courtesy...

Northern Ca is much more tolerable.

Oregon and Washington are fine, although (again) I5 in the Seattle area is it's own animal. Western Wa/Oregon is so sparsely populated that they really don't count. Bombing ranges, Potatoes and Walla Walla onions...

This car is now very nearly completely done. Sure to find something else, but not now.........And 12 years later, I'm starting to fix things that were new when we built the car. It's pretty well de-bugged!

Or he headed to the U-P with a bad GPS, no cell phone reception and is still lost in the forest between Munising and Sault St Marie...Surviving on wild turkeys and cold pasties. If he didn't bring DEET...his exposure time is limited by blood loss not hypothermia.

They've obviously never witnessed what happens when an permanent Illinois resident makes their weekly pilgrimage "north" to Wisconsin. They MAY be the best/safest driver on the planet Mon-Thur...but come Friday...they're all doing their "Jackie Stewart" imitations in a Death Race 2K14 dash headed up I-39. These otherwise mild mannered professionals morph into the malevolent "FIB"(F#$%ing Illinois B@#$%rd) once they're clear of all toll roads. NOTHING else like it...

You know how people "change" when with a group of like minded individuals??? The "gang" mentality?? THIS is it...on the road.

I always figured anything north of about Clear Lake to be "NoCal". Then there's the "Bay area", the "Valley", "SoCal", the "Sierras", and the rest..."Desert"(China Lake/29 trees/Yuma/etc...)

Used to do a lot of hiking in/around the Klamath forest back in the mid/late 80's. Beautiful area...
