(1963 mob banjo type rear differential) i just got another differiental put into place after my last one split in two, i filled it with gear oil and it drove great for the first 15 min then i hear a large whining noise and i look under the car and oil has gone everywhere, so i took it back into the garage and filled it up with some oil but it all came leaking out the pinion seal, then i grabbed the prop shaft and moved it up and down for movement and found i had about 2 cenimeters of play in every way, i looked carefully at the main banjo casing and there are no cracks like my last one, so i think the two main bearings and oil seal on the pinion need to be changed, but you tell me what you think! cheers
