Like so many others Alice's Restaurant is a Thanksgiving tradition in our house, too.

Macy's Parade from 9am to noon ... TV goes off ... Radio goes on and we all sing along as we're preparing for dinner.

This year it's got an even bigger role in our celebration. We're heading into NYC on Saturday night to see Arlo Guthrie perform at Carnegie Hall (I guess he practiced enough) for the 50th anniversary of the Alice's Restaurant Massacree incident. Should be a lot of fun.

Sunday we're getting in the Christmas spirit early with the Brian Setzer Orchestra and his annual Christmas extravaganza in our hometown of Westbury, NY. Really looking forward to that one as well.

Happy Thanksgiving, LaVerne.

This car is now very nearly completely done. Sure to find something else, but not now.........And 12 years later, I'm starting to fix things that were new when we built the car. It's pretty well de-bugged!

Once a year, most years, around Thanksgiving at Carnegie Hall.
