Yup, I live over the mountain near Smugglers Notch. I have a decent 1970 B and was going to enter it at the show, but the $ 65.00 entrance fee seems a bit steep knowing there a nicer cars out there. Hate to waste that kind of money and go home with my tail between my legs. Probably go to meet other B owners and search for parts.

I love it. We stay at the Golden Eagle resort. We've been going to Stowe for years skiing but a few years ago, someone suggested we try the 'off' season. Hahaha

Hey Gerry,

According to Jackie, dancing in the street with Martha and you, and the other MGE'ers at Friday night block party is a favorite part of her weekend!smileys with beer

In reply to # 2760070 by Zen I plan to drive up for Saturday

Neil,

FYI, if you're planning to enter the show, just remember they do not have Saturday morning registration, so make sure you preregister.

As the time nears, we'll have to arrange an MGE meet and greet. Perhaps a drive down RT100 cool smiley to the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in Waterbury sometime before show. Or just stop by my Grampian Grey BGT (it's usually the only one on the field!) MG

Cheers,

Rick

Not planning to enter the show, I suffer from my stuff is not good enough disease. No matter how well done i do something, i see every single little flaw and have not enough confidence to enter anything into any type of event. However I do enjoy looking at what other people enter into shows. smiling smiley

Hey Neil,

My car is not a show car (although it did win the Exxon Valdez award for its oil spot at the BCNH Show of Dreams a couple of years ago!). If I'm motivated enough, I may wash it, but don't count on it. grinning smiley The "show" is almost secondary to me. I do marvel at the variety of what's on the field and the respect the attention to detail on some of the cars (be sure to check out Mike Oliva's red MGB CB roadster), but for me, the back road drives, the block party, the auto-jumble, and especially the other enthusiasts are the what keep me coming back every year. thumbs up

Cheers,

Rick

You have me green with envy!

I've skied Mt Mansfield a few times staying at the Green Mountain Inn and visiting Ben & Jerrys just up the road to try the flavours we can't get in the UK. Skiing, warm cider, home made cookies and ice cream - great holidays & great memories.
