• My opinion becomes truth if I can find one other person, on the Internet with the same opinion. It is 'chiselled in stone" if I find two!

Yeah I look at a couple of the other Experience forums as well as the V8register - this one is like I imagine a chat room is (not that I've ever visited one) as this is about my limit in the virtual world (other than asking for info by email then spending on Paypal)

Roger , I don't think Chris had a problem with anything , he was just amazed at the amount of communication in comparison to other forums on the net ?

It's Australian so it probably has something to do with fighting, drinking, or drinking and fighting. Or its some sort of extremely poisonous flying bat-like shark-crock-snake-wallby.

The only thing I want to know is, what the hell is "wingeing"? Is that one of the newfangled slang words...?

Ok I'll be the pedant it's actually "whingeing" (and it's usually an attribute we attach to those from the mother country mainly in a joshing way but).

From Urban Dictionary
Whingeing Pom
Pronounced: Win-jin-pom
A slightly racist, but joking term used to describe people from the United Kingdom.
Founded in Australia and is used regularly to describe British tourists or anyone British that has anything even slightly negative to say.
Pom: "Its bleedin hot 'ere in Australia"
Aussie: "go back home you whingeing pom"
Also from Urban Dictionary
aussie
A cobber from the awsome race we call Australians. He or she is likely to excell in all kinds of sports, drinking beer and talking the ear of a grasshopper.

you could be right John...lololololol
I have a couple of mates who are pommies and the banter with all these words makes for a good time with us through the day...other than aussies , the pommies understand the most and give it back in jest ...its like an understanding of intent and a friendship with them (when familiar of course )...EG : when working on the car..."can you grab me the half inch ratchet ring spanner Billie"....."where is it Charlie , you keep your tools bloody everywhere" ...."in the top top draw you whinging pomm" ..."yeh ok , keep your shirt on convict" ....we laugh our heads off ....but if you don't know the bloke and call him a whinger with intent as that , then it is derogatory..
Chris used it against himself , which is just taking the piss out of himself ..a humour that is hard for a lot of other races to understand ....they think ...what ???? lolololol
