Because you've always wanted to do a proper engine swap............
Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.
"Anyone with an intense emotional interest in a subject loses the ability to observe it objectively: You selectively perceive events. You ignore data and facts that disagree with your main philosophy. Even your memory works to fool you, as you selectively retain what you believe in, and subtly mask any memories that might conflict."

Could be ... I'm thinking about what to do with it... Maybe a V-8..... Maybe a Lemons racer just as it sits... if falls under the value threshold.
Could it be I always wanted a GT...not really... I owned a 70 and two 72's
Could it be because it has a well used Webber along with a Cannon intake...not really... doesn't seem to be the hot ticket any longer
Rust free body.... hardly
Neat interior .... again no way...
Because it appears to be the one year only beudian ( however you spell it ) color originaly.... nope
Special engine.... no tag and the head has no injection ports ... so no I'll have to sort that out
OD tranny.... nope
So why would I drag this thing 60 miles home?

I withdraw my answer. I don't know why you dragged that thing home. You don't live back east..............

This was the reason.... when I opened the passenger door and saw this brand new, unblemished, never installed piece of unobtainium on the seat, Figured it was a sign that I should bring it home, Didn't hurt that new side pieces were there as well as a new wiring harness.
