I have a toyota corolla 5 speed trans and would like to install it in my midget. Does anyone know of a kit that's available? I believe the toyota's were common in the UK.

Many moons ago Toyota 5 speed's were being installed in Spridget's. I believe someone was making a kit to do that but it was not as easy a swap as the Datsun and the kit just went away. Don't know what Toy trans it was and if that trans is easy to come by or not. Is the Corolla trans the T50? I believe that is the most common one.

Marc, Dellow in Sydney Australia makes a bell housing that allows you to fit a T50 to an A series engine.
